Family Update

All is good in Graham....Well some sad news on the Gallagher Front. Pete will be deploying to Kuiwat Feb 2011. It is going to be a tough change of pace for the Gallaghers. Hopefully staying busy with Preschool, MOPS, Awana and church the boys won't notice too much that dad is gone.

Tucker is enjoying Preschool and Cubbies. He is worn out by Thursday afternoon. He is growing into quite the young man.

As for Wyatt I am not sure he is going to know what to do with his new found alone time with Mom. I am thinking he is going to miss Tucker but we can concentrate on potty training.

For Me just making everyday count with the boys and pray to the good Lord above that I am doing it right. I ask for patience and understanding on a daily basis knowing he will provide.

Father's Day

Father's day came and went with out a hitch. Tucker and Wyatt got there dad a t-shirt that says "Dad Rocks" and a pair of sandals. We went to church and then off to Cheryl Redmen's for lunch. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, steamer clams, shrimp and a green salad. It was a nice afternoon. We then came home for a nap. We topped off the day at Greg and Angie's for some water fun and BBQ Chicken. It was a nice day for all.

More pictures of the guys just hanging out.

Can't Get Enough

As many of you know Tucker is Pete's number one fan. He can't stand not being with his dad if Pete is home. I am chopped liver when it comes to Pete unless Tucker is being punished. Tucker even likes doing yard work with Dad.

Baby Update

Just wanted to give an update on our little guy and Mom. During a certain time frame of a pregnancy the mother has to endure this great test called "Glucose Tolerance", which you have to drink this gross drink within 5 minutes and then go have blood drawn within an hour. Well my results came back high, which was no real surprise since the same thing happened when I was pregnant with Tucker. So I had to take another test, which is 3 hours long. I had to fast, then go to the lab, get poked in the arm several times before they could find a vein to draw from and then sit in the waiting from for an hour. I then got to go back to the lab and drink the awful drink and wait another hour, then go back and get poked again in the same arm and vein...ouch. So I got to sit in the waiting room from 9:25 am to 12:25 pm of the doctors office, without being able to eat and meanwhile getting poked 4 times in the same vein. With all of this over, I am please to say the test results came back good. I am negative for Gestational Diabetes..yeah! Which I was anticipating since I had the same results with Tucker. I guess there is always some fear within me since my mother got adult onset diabetes when she was 35 which I am fast approaching. That's the update for now.

Ice Cream

With our crazy schedules these day's Tucker has been being watched by our friend Angie while mommy attends various appointments. Angie took her children to McDonalds to get a ice cream cone and felt bad about not getting Tucker one, so she got him his first ice cream cone. All he has ever had before was by sharing the spoon with mom or dad.

Monthly Update

Just a little update on how we are doing up here in Graham. Pete is doing well at his job with the National Guard with alot of potential for advancement or should I say added duties. Tucker is growing like a weed. New words come out of his mouth every day. The word of the week is "WOW" to everything. It is not a new word for him, but has come back into play. Some day he will say "momma or mom". His dad is still his favorite. I am doing well playing hostess to Baby G, both us are growing nicely I might add. I am feeling good with the exception of a little cold, but other than that good. Baby G likes to move around and eat sweets. Can't complain about that. Well should run, Tucker is napping and I need the quiet time.

In Training

Tucker training for one of his future chores.

Happiness of Loon

Tucker got a mylar balloon for Valentines Day! After of week of him showing great expressions of whoa, wow, and loon, over the balloons at the grocery store, I thought what a great Valentines Day gift. He feel asleep with the balloon in the car on the way home and once we got home and laid him down in is crib the balloon magically was still in his little hand, his eye's grew big and with the softest voice he said "loon". Tucker is not a man of many words yet so this is quite impressive for mom. I took the balloon into the other room so we could get a nap in and he called from his crib over and over "loon", so as much as I did not want to ( I gave into a 17th month old) and let him out to play with his precious loon.
